Alain de Botton

Alain de Botton is a Swiss-born British philosopher and author. He is a writer of essayistic books that have been described as a ‘philosophy of everyday life.’ De Botton has written a number of best-selling titles, including Essays in Love (1993), Status Anxiety (2004), and The Architecture of Happiness (2006).
